COMPASS Catholic Fellowship at the University of Toronto invites you to join us for our Fall day-retreat on Saturday, November 8, 2003 in Toronto. This retreat is for all Catholic and non-Catholic students interested in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and her role in today’s culture. The retreat is FREE and lunch will be provided.
10:00am Arrival at St. Michael’s Chapel, Confession available
10:30am Mass
11:30am Meditation: “God and You”
12:15pm Personal Reflection and Prayer
12:30pm Lunch – Brennan Hall Rm
1:30pm Rosary and “Via Crucis”, Confession available
2:30pm Talk – What difference does the Mass make to your life? Every human life, conceived from eternity and destined to eternity, here finds its story truly told. – Carr Hall
3:15pm Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Time for Personal Reflection and Prayer
4:00pm Interval
4:30pm Talk – At the Crossroads of History: Canada and the Culture of Life – Hart House South Dining Room
5:15pm Question and Answer session on The Catholic Faith – Hart House South Dining Room
6:00pm COMPASS for Canada
6:30pm Social
There will oppurtunities for confession, spiritual direction and meditation.
Even if you cannot make it for all the events, you are more than welcome to join us.
